St. Isaac's Cathedral is the largest cathedral in St. Petersburg and fourth cathedral dedicated to Saint Isaac of Dalmatia. It was a wish of Peter the Great who had been born on the feast day of Saint Isaac to perpetuate his birthday.

Exterior of the Cathedral is executed like a compact bulk with the fourth classic porticos with columns of Corinthian capitals. Large arched windows of the cathedral walls framed columns, on the corners of facade fourth steeples and one large central dome. Building decorated statues and reliefs.
