Cinnamon - dried bark of the tree (Cinnamomum verum), which used as spice.

On the Caribbean, cinnamon bark sells as whole or ground and used in desserts (baked goods, cakes, biscuits, puddings), cereals, sweet sauces, jams and jellies, pickles, relishes, vinegars, soups and gravies. Also it is used to flavour beverages like hot chocolate, cocoa and juices.

Usually, quills of cinnamon bark added in the water to boil. Then the red water used to make coffee, cocoa, tea or used alone as a spicy tea.
