The oldest European settlement in the United States, St. Augustine, Florida is more than a modern American city. The city pays homage to its past in several attractions. The Oldest House, Store Museum, and Wooden Schoolhouse are all located here, and they provide an excellent look at the area history. The city's Spanish origins are also showcased. The Spanish Quarter Village is a 2 square block history park, which has been recreated to resemble St. Augustine circa 1750. St. Augustine is also home to the World Golf Hall of Fame, a museum showcasing the world of professional golf from its players to celebrity supporters.
